Can the length of the trailer arm; at the hitch, be shortened or folded up during storage in a garage?
What is the over all length of the yak and trailer together?

Where are you located?

Dan

Hi Dan,
The length from the trailer tongue to the end of the kayak is 16'. I purchased a 2' trailer tongue extension from Magneta and it's attached with two bolts, so it's easily removed. If you did that, you'd be basically left with just the length of the kayak (13'7"). The width of the trailer from fender to fender is 4'10". I'm located in Oceanside. Sent you my cell on PM.
Thanks,
Rich

Are you open to selling some of the accessories separately?

Hi. I'd prefer to sell as a package at this point, but thanks for asking.

Looks like you might be able to adjust the location of the front crossbar. Sliding it forward would shift the kayak forward, shortening the overall length. Tough to tell for certain from the pics

Yes you're right. The front crossbar is held by a u-bolt, so it can be slid further forward. Actually, the entire center channel that holds the tongue can be slid rearward to really shorten the trailer length. Ends up where the trailer length can be much shorter than the actual kayak. A very strong and well built trailer. Magneta (out of Hull, Iowa) offers a bolt on kit to handle another kayak either to the side or on top. I'll try to get another photo or two posted.
