I too have to look into my old gear.

I know I have the Mitchel 300 spinning with the extra spool.

I bought it because of all the advertising in the fishing magazines.

It is my first spinning reel, before my Zebco rod and spincast reel combo.

I caught a ton of fish on my old Mitchell 300, wish I still had it

But I got this for less money have caught several 5lb bass on it...I like it when they peel line off....trout too

I love my Abu Garcia reels but I just saw this video and if this is the direction they are going then I am done buying them, this is truly sad
