Favorite Knot for 40# Fluorocarbon
I've been doing an Alberto for braid to fluoro but I'm finding it very difficult to fully cinch down and almost always put a dab of superglue on it. No failed knots since using the glue...
I keep meaning to try the FG knot but haven't. https://www.saltstrong.com/articles/fg-knot/ For terminal to hooks, swivels etc I've just been using Uni knots. I found the double-Uni for braid-to-fluoro was easy to tie but way too big. And I recently discovered Tactical Angler clips. They're awesome for switching between different lures without cutting off and retying knots. Been using the 50lb variety with 40lb fluoro leader. Edit: I saw after submitting my reply that you were asking specifically about terminal knots so forgive my sidetracking on braid/fluoro joins. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Tony pena knot for the braid to flouro connection.
The palomar knot for the jig. The most important part of the palomar is the cinch. You have to take your time and make sure the knot does not get too tight until the end. |
