Squid boats! most definitely. I have a friend right across the street from El Matador, and we see them out there pretty regularly.

See the night fishing boats out there again tonight, does anyone know whether it is a signal for good daytime kayak fishing also?

My bet would be squid, they're starting to see some in the area and Nacho's has live squid for sale.
