I should have mentioned kayak is really just to cruise around in, maybe a little fishing but not really a factor. Budget hopefully under $600?

Malibu Mini X would be a good choice. It is light and stable.

I like my tetra 12 angler. It’s light, and good to paddle. Very fishable. Don’t get the mini-x it’s a tank in the water. I wouldn’t recommend a mini x

If you can find an ocean kayak trident 11 or a hobie quest 11 or a wilderness tarpon those are really good paddling kayaks that don't weigh too much.
