Halol,
What type of back and shoulder injuries do you have? Is paddling out of the question?

Also think about loading and unloading of the yak.

Ivan,

Hobies are the reason I go back into kayaking.

When I had a rotator-cuff tear, I had give up on
my FnD. The pedal power was the trick (with concessions).
I had to use my wife's station wagon to carry my hobie low enough.

Test load which ever yak you decide on, and remember you will
always have you use your paddles some time.
