WTG Josh,nice first LJ yellow. Liked your story, I can relate to the time I started kayak fishing. Had a yellow on and the rod butt was in my belt area and it set off my co2 life vest and all of a sudden a big yellow baloon was in my face. Pretty comical. And after all the work and the final reward, what do you get? Yellowtail fever! Constantly thinking and planning how your gonna score your SECOND big fish. Your fishing buddies invite you to join them in SD bay: "No thanks guys, I'm goin for Yellowtail!" Get together in Dana Point? "Sorry, I'd rather fish La Jolla. You see, now I'm a big game expert!" I still feel the pull in my arms and back and I want to feel it again. Maybe I should retire from my job and become a full time guide! Yellowtail fever - it happened to me.
