Congrats Rick! What a nice fish! Thanks for the squid net the other morning. Saved me a lot of time (didn't catch anything worthy) but still saved some time. Thanks again!

WOW. that fifty+ is intense. I'd just hang it up and go to Bells Beach and wait for the 50 year storm

Even pickier today (Thursday) 10% hookup for a zillion guys. If you could get the squid past the macs you had a shot. Crowd worked well together and everyone was cool.

My boys go to school right around the corner from Blue Water Tackle, so I usually cruise by to bug 'em if I have a few minutes to kill before I pick them up. So I went in yesterday and Roosta shows me that beast... I pretty much shat myself. Beautiful fish. Sometimes you get lucky and catch a beast right away in your younger years. Sometimes it takes eons. But one day, if you fish long enough, something like this comes along. Savor the moment - that thing is epic If I catch one like that I'm gonna Gyotaku it for sure... then you can remember forever!

It was Rick's Fish, so it should be Rick's choice to make the Post and tell the story if He chooses.

Its His Thunder man.

I don't post pictures of other peoples fish, because its their story, and their moment.
