Basically exactly what Brett said.
The scupper is the weakest part of your kayak due to the way they are molded. By putting a cart into the scuppers that is not an exact fit (heres where Hobie boats/carts are the exception) you are putting a lot of excess torque on the area and you ar elikely to rupture the scupper and cause yourself problems.
Spend the mony on a kayak that is going to be good for your kayak and last longer. Plus a cart that cradles a boat can be used on ANY kayak which means if you get a few boats you dont need multiple carts. And you can always loan your wheels to a friend at the launch if needed.
