Looks like he may have used the design you can get here for free.

I prefer a cradle dolly. Fits more kayaks; scupper dollys only fit one style kayak.

I built my own thru scupper hole cart wheels, but after reading this, I think i'm going to spend another 4 $ and make another one so i dont damage the scuppers. Going to make something that will craddle the hull. AWESOME THREAD! THANKS. Golf cart wheels are light, cheap/free, and work like a charm on soft sand! CHEERS!

Don't forget the 8-10" pneumatic rubber wheels that go on sale at harbor freight tools all the time for About $6 : )

Here's a set of kayak wheels that have garnered favorable reviews.
The kayak sits on top of pads and the entire set collapses to fit
inside your kayak so you don't have to lock it up or leave it in
your car.
