I don't believe pollution is the primary problem, consumption and waste is. We have depleted the biggest and best breeders because they taste good, I know I sure like to eat bigger fish. We will never bring back the ecosystem the way it was 100 years ago but I believe we can make it at least sustainable by limits, quotas, regulations, etc. Of course we need good science and a strong DFG to manage it, not the "feel good" folks pushing the more extreme MPLA proposals.
