Hi, this is my first post. I have been browsing the forums for sometime now. I don't even have a kayak yet, but I fish every other day in the Dana Point harbor.
Anyway.. Does a blue SMCA spot mean we can still fish in that area? Or.. Thanks. |

Wow.. so I guess blue means no fishing as well. When they say Dana Point, I wonder if this would include the harbor too.
I will be there to help fight this.. I guess I will hold off on buying a kayak for now. No point in buying one if I cant even go out and fish in it. You can bet the MLPA's are going to pass. These rich people who want this to pass have probably never spent anytime fishing or diving and can really care less about the economy or the hobbie. ![]() |

Blue does not always mean no fishing. Every blue zone is different. Some allow all take of finfish for recreational anglers.
