when I first started my investigation, they had both a wide and a standard lens in HD. Now I only see HD in wide.

I got this camera called "Flip Video" as a gift.Not as cool as the gopro and not hd just 480 but they make a housing for it and I will see what if anything I can capture on it...

I got the older go pro with a wrist strap I bring out to film my son surfing. Better picture than I thought. The HD one should be killer. I also have the HD flip recorder another excellent picture and your able to frame for frame to get the right still shot. It's not waterproof tho.

right on... I've heard of the flip. do you guys like it?

what are you guys using to edit? I don't really want to drop the dough on final cut.

my brother just got the HD go pro, it came with a waterproof case. excellent quality picture and very stable. i would advise you to get the larger card it is expensive but worth it for longer videos. here is a link to check out, it's not fishing (dirt bike riding in glamis) and kinda long, but gives you an idea about the camera. hopfully i can steal it from him this summer for some fishing footage.

I have a flip HD as well.. maybe I will just buy a case for it.

Anyway, I use Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing.
