Nice Catch. You don't have to make excuses to any of us about keeping a threshere once a year. Sounds like the timing was right to keep one. I saw you land it and pose for a good 30 minutes with it, but never saw you bleed it. If you didn't they taste a lot better bled (they urinate in their blood, so bleeding sweetens the meat.
About 45 minutes after you caught yours, C-Level's Cousin, Randy hooks while fishing solo on their boat. Mid fight, the thresher goes airborn and jumps into the bow. So much for catch and release... Nice catch.

![]() Nice catch, congrats!!! I'm with Mr. JH - nothing wrong with keeping a T here and there. That one was a perfect kayak handling size. It seems to me many more of them that get caught around LJ end up being released, that's very cool too.
