nooooo!!!! don't do it....not the avet on the SUP!!! those do not like water.... if you have to bring it at least shove it down the back of your wetsuit when you paddle out!!!

also bring a knife if your gonna target seabass in the kelp....hooking up with sevengills and batrays (bycatch) on heavy gear sucks if you have no way to quickly cut the line when you figure out its the wrong kind....at least on the SUP's you don't have to have your feet dangling in the water like fishing from conventional longboards.

Sweet. I got a waterproof backpack I'm stashing the avet in. It's the only reel I got that is full spectra, and just made a short handle flying gaff.

Trying to entice the iceman if he no worky.
