u know
now that u mentioned it i was out of redondo yesterday and ran into some weird ripples a few times that were right angle to the oncoming swell and they didnt seem like boat wake though there was alot of that going on too Last edited by radastaff; 07-06-2010 at 04:45 PM. |

I knew I would get some drug and smart ass comments!! I got a good chuckle!
A long time Kayaker friend told me of rogue waves off sunset cliffs, but in shallower water, which makes sense... But if you would have been there you would have thought WTF!?!?!? Thanks for all comments, even the smartass ones!!! COWBOYBILL!!!      : wsb:

Yeah that wave was weeeiirrddd, came out of nowhere. I was hooked up to big ray when that wave got to me. Thank god for scuppers! maybe upswell from the canyon?who knows..I like the idea of freak yellows.  Rolly |
