It was a lot more than I wanted to spend,but it's a nice vest, and the extra pockets and areas to store stuff is a bonus out on the water. Everything is within your grasp.

I did the same thing - I don't think I have the Fisherman, but it has two pockets and made by Stohlquist - is not in the way of paddling.
