Bugs are different because the do not store fat in the same way as fish. I hoop lots of places I don't keep fish like the MDR breakwall. Ballona creek has got to be one of the dirtiest outfalls around, but the bugs there are just fine. There was a big study on contaminates in fish and crustaceans a few years back and Lobsters consistently scored better then fish. Personally I don't like fishing Pedro because I think it's kind of an Ugly place to fish. For me it's just a place I pass through to get to Cat, or go troll Marlin on the slide. To each their own though, there are definitely fish in there. Jim |

Jim, that's just not fair, not everyone can just zip out to the islands, to catch butts from clean water, hook-up on WSB after WSB, nor troll for marlin. Nor can they travel the world in search of exotic species. They might just be so envious that they take it as a secret rub or something |

guys that are new(er) to cabrillo make sure to keep your head on a swivel near the shipping lanes... besides all the small boats and jet skis constantly whizzing by, those giant tankers move a lot faster than they look...
