I have only launched from the shore across the street from the hotels there, thats where wifey likes to stay cause it is so close, we usually get out there on saturday and fish sunday, or we could do the afternoon bite on saturday, it's about 2-2.5 hour drive for me so we make a overnighter out of that trip.
I am open for any ideas...

no Matt, not seeing others, just making the group larger, I figured if nobody saw the invite by the middle of the month I would start pm-ing you guys, I thought this would be advanced enough notice for the "honey-dos" to be done in a timely manner...

I just booked the hotel in front of the launch for March 5 and 6. The wife and kids and I will arrive Saturday, do family activities. hehehe.... And i will get to fish all day SUNDAY!!! or afternoon Saturday....

then on Monday I will eat hot breakfast buffet and leave home on my 2 hour drive to los angeles.

Whatever way it works out i get to fISH

Penciled in and ready to launch, i am working on my paddle burn.

My wife asked me if I am taking my mistress ( thats the name my wife named my yak) and I said o yeah.

I looked at the tides for that weekend and on Sunday from about 3:30 A.M. till 9:40 the tide will be going to a high from 0.6 to 5.7. I was thinking for launching Sunday at 6 A.M. and fishing until about 2. We would be able to fish the end of the incoming tide and then the out going tide. Does that sound good for any of you?

sounds good to me, we are all set to go, the more the merrier... parking at the launch is free, but fills pretty fast after the am, I don't think we will have any trouble

I'll probably be at the launch by 5 so I can get the Yak down, and geared up to launch at 6. I like to get as much fishing time possible.

I will be there, for the 6 am tee time, I will be staying right across the street at Bay Club...we should have quite a few guys by then, I think there is about 6 or 7 that have expressed interest already...should be a good time

Might shorten your paddle a bit to launch from the foot of Lawrence Street. Just keep heading down Rosecrans past the SI turnoff and make a left on Lawrence before you hit the sub base gate. Probably shave at least a few hundred yards off the trip.

I have to leave my wife mobile so i will be rolling my yak, from the hotel to the beach. If i have to paddle just a few hundred yards more, well i need the exercise.
