Nice! I was listening to Lets Talk Hook Up today and the guy who landed that 400 lb tuna also used a SD Knot.... Gotta look that one up.

At least you know you can win next year! 90lbs is a pretty impressive knot with 60# line, it'll give you more confidence for when you're out on the water :P

Thanks Jim, its an addicting fishing sub-sport.
tunaseeker - everyone should use a SD, Uni, or Irwin in some form or another IMO. They don't break easily, even when tied in the single line configuration and can remain small enough to draw a bite from picky fish. Kev - thats a special SD, not your average double SD. Its hard to tell in the pic, but there is a secret hot sauce in there and its lubricated with Porter before the draw. -I don't remember which boat it was, but I had already said I would donate it back to The Izor guys for more Rollo's benefit. I need some good karma right now - my fishing arm is out of service for awhile. swank - I might have a chance of winning, but there are additional factors to consider in line variation and diameter throughout the spool. -Technique is definitely the #1 factor, you have to tie these knots with great care. Line strength will vary throughout the spool, so you need some luck too.
