So you are saying that you don't use a flourcarbon/mono leader? Cool, I will have to try that.

Yep no leader. I love the 8lb straight. Gonna try the 20lb, even though it is pink. I'll just bring some leader material in case I don't like it.

I've used white and vermillion in kelp, boiler rocks and break walls for calicos and both worked great.
Not so when I tried 30# vermillion braid in SD bay for spotties/sandies. I got a lot fewer bites on the than I did with 6# fluoro on the same day. Really big difference. |
