Count me in, I'll be there in the Moss Outback. I have not picked up my fish finder yet, will store bought squid work?

Store bought frozen is better than nothing...any of the boxed stuff from san pedro is usually pretty good.

I went thru a 2+lb box this am feeding the bass and mega macks....found some areas that looked like squid on the meter but couldn't make any. I spent most of the time swimm'in the iron like a squid near the bottom.

Good luck!!

Gotta ask. What are the Coast Guard requirements for a kayak "Boat" at night? Someday I would like to hit the night bite. Recently I was with a friend in a small boat 23' center console aluminum boat and pulled an all nighter in the LJ cove about a month ago, no love from the WSB gods, but just to let you know it is really HARD to see the kayak lights! It was very enlightening. Just remember you are almost invisible out there so low to the water.

Cool, I'll look for you, I also can trade Beer and Sandwiches for some live squid. The hobie bait tank blowing up problem put me in a situation where I do not have a bait tank until they fix the problem.

If you dont find squid, hit me up, i'll have a few pound of squid with me. Moss green hobie, blue jacket with orange PDF. I"m happy to share..
