When I was stationed at Pendleton I always bought my license on base. There was no "?" then. Not sure where you're stationed, but if it is Pendleton then go to the four seasons store and pick it up. Once you get one, it will always pop up in yrs to come as military res

the way I read the question and the answer i posted per the DFG Handbook isn't about a "discount" it's about the definition of residency. Seems to me that Active military would be considered residents and by DFG Rules get Residency rates.

If you are stationed here, you are a resident. Go to any of the shops and tell them you are a resident. All my buddies got there's for a good price.

Asking for a discount on your fishing license is like asking the DMV for a discount on your registration fees.....it ain't going to happen.

If your concern is whether or not a tackle shop or retail store will recognize your residency just go on the DFG website and fill out the application there, you can print a temporary until the original comes in the mail.

I'm in the gun club and I didn't have to pay the $100 + fee. Just show them your cac and your state Id and your good. The sporting goods in the mcx should help you out or you can contact your rec center for more info. If you need more info your local bait and tackle has info posted on the wall.
