I heard on NPR that they are possibly going to build a hydroelectric generation station. If it gets approved, it will be closer to the 2017 date I bet.
They are going to use a pump to move the water up to a higher elevation reservoir at night while electricity is cheap, then let it flow back down to SV during peak hours to generate for peak usage times. Only ones who have been fishing that reservoir are the Barona locals; it has had no pressure since the closure. Guaranteed there are 25 lb large-mouth in SV! |

heard they're working on the foundations for the marina. once thats done, they'll have to wait for a bit so that the reservoir fills up to its 'new' capacity. how long will that take? no clue..
