Great picts. Jorge, it was nice meeting you after all the posts I've read in the past. I know what you mean about doing 3 different things, I didn't take enough still pict. The biggest problem was not checking the setting on my Go Pro and had video set to 14:5 and when I downloded the video it would be black and all it had was audio. It took two days of messing with the video on I Movie to convert it so as to make a movie. Then the majority of the time it's me paddling from place to place with a few short spotties and lizard fish. Next time I have to think to take more picts and make sure it's on 1080P to avoid all the hassle with the video. I guess I'll get better the more I use the Go Pro I just got it so it's another toy to learn to use well. Cool video. Tight Lines. Mark

I tried standing on my Malibu like that but I'm so wobbly. That, and standing up from such a low seat is hard on the old knees.

Thanks for the pics. They're a real surprise and came out great!!! I have all kinds of pictures from my own camera but I didn't have any of myself standing up.
Thanks again!

One of the things that I do now is that I leave my GP running regardless of whats going on. Obviously, there are advantages and disadvantages to doing this.

First and foremost you will go through a few batteries in a day. You will need to make sure you have fully charged batteries before you get on the water, I usually carry one in the camera and two spare, this will easily get me through a 6hour session.

Second, I DO NOT save all of the video that I record. If I have the camera running for an hour and nothing happened I will delete that footage, this will give me a fresh/empty memory card. Although I can get a little more than 5hrs of video on a 16gb card I chose to not keep video of me just cruising around. However, if I manage to capture some video and I want to keep it I will stop recording once that part of the session is done. As an example, if I've had the camera on for an hour and I get hooked up on a fish I will turn the camera off then on once I'm done putting the fish away.

I dont usually mess around with the video settings, I set and forget it. When I first got my GP I was playing around with the video settings. Well, everything worked fine at home (obviously) but when I was on the water and ready to record the camera wouldn't respond.........go figure.
