I fished Leffingwells last weekend sat and sun

its a protected cove
you can launch there even when the swell is 10'+
but with that the seas are hard to fish anyways
4-5 is fine
5-6 is a bit bouncy
any more and I would pass

bottom of low and top of high tides can get a bit surgey at times

fog and afternoon wind is more of an issue
fog can be thick
and wind is mostly guaranteed early afternoon

water temps are cold
I bought a farmer john wet suit for there specifically
made by NRS and works great

fishing was slow sat
and decent sun
wind stayed mellow both days

Leffingwell is at leffingwell creek
just at the north end of moonstone beach
cambria
and south of san simeon

and slow means I still managed 5 keepers including a toad red

good luck

my fav place to fish prob
